2020/06/07 Megaman Ancients: A Quirky Prototype
A while back, Sid Naik shared his MML project with me, Megaman Ancients, in the hopes that I'd give it a mention here. Sky Pirate Arcade is always happy to see more things happening in the fan game scene. That said, anyone looking to check it out should understand that this is a very, very, very early engine prototype. It contains two environments, but so far as I could tell there was no objective. Despite careful study of the controls, I was unable even to aim my buster and hit a reaverbot.

Ordinarily I would not recommend sampling a game at this stage of development, to be honest, but the quirkiness at play here has won me over. Playing as a derpy Megaman inside a bubble who walks backward and slides around shooting himself in the foot while giant reaverbots float about detached from their legs is an experience I won't soon forget. No fooling.

Clearly, there are a LOT of kinks to be worked out, but I know how difficult it can be to make a 3D MML fan game, and I honestly think Sid Naik is putting in a legit effort. If you want to check it out for yourself, visit Megaman Ancients on itch.io, and you can get to his Twitter from there for more updates.
